Accessibility at Seatoir

Seatoir is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Our standard

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance, the standard most commonly referenced in higher education procurement requirements and federal accessibility guidelines.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML elements and ARIA landmarks to support assistive technologies
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard navigable
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Associate form labels and error messages with their corresponding inputs
  • Support responsive layouts that work at up to 200% browser zoom
  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images
  • Use clear, consistent navigation patterns across the application

Ongoing efforts

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We treat it as continuous work integrated into our development process:

  • New features are reviewed for accessibility before release
  • We test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and keyboard-only navigation
  • Accessibility issues are prioritized alongside other bugs

Known limitations

As a growing product, some areas of Seatoir may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We are actively identifying and addressing gaps. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it.

Report an accessibility barrier

If you experience difficulty using Seatoir due to a disability or accessibility barrier, please contact us at support@seatoir.com. Include a description of the issue and the page or feature where you encountered it. We will respond promptly and work to resolve the barrier.
